Happy New Year!
I can't help but to remember fondly my New Year's Eve wedding from last year at The Hotel Monaco in D.C. What an amazing wedding and party!
Happy anniversary to one of my all-time favorite couples, Eliza and Micah! I hope you ring in every year with as much joy and love as you did last year.
Thanks to Jennifer from Love Life Images for the fab shot above!

Relaunch Redux {Anne Michelle Heirloom}
Thanks so much to Anne for her beautiful contribution to our blog relaunch. There are more samples of her gorgeous creations below, and be sure to check out her Etsy shop for the rest!
Relaunch Redux {Olio Designs}
Seriously, people: the holiday season on Etsy is AMAZING. Behold, seasonal lollipop wrappers from Olio Designs...
If this display of festive deliciousness looks familiar, it's probably because Meg at Olio Designs gave away fifty equally fetching lollipop wrappers during Bridal Bubbly's relaunch. Thanks, Meg! Now, I leave you, our readers, with three words: Rudolph. Cupcake. Toppers.

Relaunch Redux {Bethany Lorelle}
Anyone need a fabulous hair accessory to top off their New Year's Eve outfit? I have a few suggestions, courtesy of Bethany Lorelle:
Check out Bethany's great new online store for more gorgeous accessories, like the hair fascinator she gave away to one lucky Bridal Bubbly reader this summer. Ooh la la!
Relaunch Redux {The Gilded Bee}
You guys, it did not click in my head until a minute ago that it being the holidays everywhere means that it is also the holidays on Etsy!!! Why did no one point this out to me earlier? Look at the garland I could have purchased from The Gilded Bee instead of painstakingly stringing popcorn and cranberries:
Thank you, Gilded Bee, not only for participating in Bridal Bubbly blog relaunch this summer, but also for enabling me to decorate like my idol Dolly Parton. She would totally love that cotton candy pink garland, don't you think?
Check out more of The Gilded Bee's fabulous decor offerings on Etsy.

Relaunch Redux {Lillipops Designs}
I was torn about which of our fabulous giveaway vendors to feature next. Staring out the window at the cold and rainy weather, lost in indecision, I realized I was in need of a little pick-me-up. That really left only one choice: the sunny, cheerful, and downright adorable threads of eco-conscious children's designer Lillipops.
Besides making one lucky reader very happy during our relaunch, Jayme Lillie has officially brightened my day with her darling designs. Check out her shop and I'm sure she'll do the same for you.

Relaunch Redux {Bonzie}
I still remember the day we announced Irish fashion label Bonzie would be giving away one of their fabulous bridal wraps to a lucky Bridal Bubbly reader. I was so excited for our readership, and SO bummed that I couldn't enter to win the wrap myself (something about a conflict of interest and me not actually getting married, I think is what Laura said--pffft).
Well happily for me, and every other fashion-loving girl out there, Bonzie's super talented designers Yvonne and Ger have expanded their line to included non-bridal designs with the same romantic vintage appeal. Check out their new online shop for gorgeous fascinators, corsets, reconstructed t-shirts, and more. And of course, we still love the original Bonzie shop for the ultimate in chic bridal wraps and accessories!
Thanks, Yvonne and Ger, for making Bridal Bubbly's relaunch that much more chic!
Cheers,
Alison
The year in review: Bridal Bubbly gives thanks!
What a year it's been for Bridal Bubbly! We've covered fabulous weddings, featured the latest and greatest in bridal trends and vendors, and eaten dozen of cupcakes along the way. Now as the year draws to a close, we want to say thank you. First, to our amazing readers, for their loyalty, enthusiasm, and all-around loveliness. And second, we want to honor the incredible vendors who made the relaunch of Bridal Bubbly so successful!
So over the new few days, we'll be highlighting all the vendors who participated in our summer relaunch campaign. Keep an eye out for your favorites, as we look back before turning ahead to the new year.
Cheers!

Happy Holidays!
Hope everyone who celebrates has a wonderful Christmas. We'll be back next Friday with a new chapter of "Death on the Aisle." Until then, enjoy our favorite dress to wear to a Christmas wedding! Yes, the skirt is made entirely out of wrapped chocolates. Yum!

In a New York Minute {Engagement Photos}
Earlier in the year I blogged about my exciting visit to NYC to do a site visit with one of my brides. She and her fiancé will be getting married at the jaw-dropping Gotham Hall in April of 2011.
I just received the link to her engagement photos, shot by the talented New York based photographer Shira Weinberger. Here are a few of my favorites. Click the link below to see more and to read about the couple. I can’t wait to share the pictures of the wedding next year!
Happy Holidays!

Real Wedding Part 2 {Abby & Zack}
Here is Part 2 of Abby and Zack's fabulous Eastern Shore wedding. The reception was so much fun with the rockstar band, Sound Connection, and the pie & gelato station instead of a traditional cake. Loved every minute of it!
Excellent wedding! What a day! Thank you so much Abby & Zack (& Kim) for allowing me to be a part of such an amazing experience. Much love.
