Mandarin Oriental Wedding! {Alia & Daniel}
No photos yet but we do have a video highlight from Blue Sky of Alia and Daniel's wedding! The big day was on September 18, 2010 at the Mandarin Oriental and it was such a FANTASTIC wedding. Alia and Daniel made sure to customize every detail and ensured that their guests would remember their wedding forever. They choreographed their first dance to Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel" which I think was one of the best parts of the evening. They also used our favorite Zafe band to lead their introduction into dinner and then later, the band played while belly dancers performed for the guests.
The vendor team was top notch and Capital Decor and Events created a votive chandelier that was suspended over the aisle for the ceremony. It led to a wall of orchids and made for a very Zen atmosphere. The decor for the cocktail hour and dinner where designed to lean towards the bride's Middle Eastern heritage and were much more colorful and ornate.
Dominic Sanchez at the Mandarin was delightful as always to work with and designed a menu that all the guests were talking about all night. I couldn't have asked for a better team to work with on this wedding!
